This is probably the biggest and loudest Kickstarter project ever! Pono Music funded by Neil Young initially targeted to raise $800,000. Kickstarter fans were screaming so loud that in 10 hour's time, it reached its goal and went live! Total figure raised was exponential, $6,225,354.

Pono Music is a music player and service allows user to listen to a higher quality audio than your regular smartphone or music player. You probably want to think of throwing iPhone away after grabbing one of this! (Sorry, Apple)

Of course, Pono's success did not come out from thin air. Neil had a couple of notable friend who had appeared in the fund raising video providing testimonies about the product. Some of them including Beck, Norah Jones, Rick Rubin, Jack White, Arcade Fire, Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Dave Grohl, Elvis Costello, Beastie Boys' Mike D, Elton John, Jackson Browne, Dave Matthews, Patti Smith, Kid Rock and Mumford & Sons' Marcus Mumford.

Plenty of marketing made the campaign hot and sizzling. No wonder it became so loud.

But do check out their awesome video, probably you can learn some tips if you were to kickstart a campaign on your own.

*A note guys, we have so many talented Malaysian across nation, pitchIN is one of them. It is one of the first Malaysian site to offer funding campaign like Kickstarter, claimed to be the first in Southeast Asia as well.

You probably have to check this out, if your campaign were to launch in Malaysia instead.
