I admit I love nostalgic moments, even if it means watching the opening theme of 80's cartoon. And here's one that I almost forgotten, the righteous, environmentalist, white skin hero called Captain Planet!

@Huffingtonpost
Captain Planet cartoon series was created by Ted Turner in 1993. It tells the story of Gaia who wanted to put a stop to the Eco-Villains. Hence, Gaia created 5 magical rings, and 5 person was chosen to wear it.

With 5 rings combined, Planeteers can summon Captain Planet to save the world from pollution. He was invincible, however his only weakness was to be exposed to source of pollution (seems like a really poor weakness).

Don Cheadle and team decided to revive Captain Planet to live. Don was best known as the War Machine in Marvel's Iron Man.

Iron Man and War Machine in Iron Man 2013 @marvel
Can't believe a man behind a heavy armoured costume and Captain Planet was the same person. Don put himself into the costume, put on the green hair wig and spray himself white (though he is African American in nature). Voila, Captain Planet was born!

Ok I know this video isn't new anymore. But at least it brought up the funny moments once again for those who nearly forgotten our favourite who fights against pollution.

Here's another one of the fan-made trailer . People just love Captain Planet!

Ant-Man was the highlight for this month. But just in case we forgotten that X-Men's latest reboot was a hit and wonders to every X-Men fans on the planet. So to remind us again, latest X-Men franchise will be on screen next year, 2016.

Bryan Singer will continue to direct the upcoming movie. Marvel hasn't been very public during the San Diego Comic Con this year, but 'fraid not! We've seen some of the latest X-Men: Apocalypse snapshots from the web.

Some may be familiar (or maybe not) with the bunch of characters. Here we have the NEW Psylocke, Cyclops, and new characters like Jean Grey, Nightcrawler, Storm and of course the Apocalypse!

The Apocalypse, biggest highlight for this movie! Looks like someone else......

I can't help but thinking they used the same costume designer!!

Thanks to Entertainment Weekly for releasing some of the pictures of the casts. Here we get to show more:

Tye Sheridan as Cyclops

We have here the Asian Jublee, Lana Condor. That's seriously so 90s

Kodi Smit-Mcphee as that little devil, Nightcrawler

Alexandra Shipp is Storm

Sansa Stark as......I mean Sophie Turner, is Jean Grey (can't get my head of thinking other roles for her)

Oscar Isaac is the Apocalypse and Olivia Munn (right) is the new Psylocke

Some of the previous X-Men casts

Just a few days after the San Diego Comic Con, people were all crazy about any latest events. Well, how could we forget about the gadget and toy showcase.

This is one of them. 1/4 Scale Super Alloy Hulkbuster figure showcased in the Comicave booth. Beneath the giant is the Iron Man Mark 43 armor from the inside! This giant that stand four foot tall, pulled quite a number of crowd into the booth, no doubt about that.

Great texture, awesome job on painting, and that glinting steel plate coat of body!  How else can they do better with this? I am going to save my pay check this month to bring this baby back home.

I was looking at the picture of The Incredible Hulk, made 100% with scrap metals. The first look at it, I did not believe it was made out of scrap metals. It looked perfectly clean and curved. I was so impressed I decided to find out who was the great talent behind these works.

Apparently, this is the work of the crews of this shop called BanHunLek from Thailand. This shop is known for making sculptures and character designs using spare parts and scrap metals.

What's awesome about this team is that, they have made several notable works that earned them reputation. Some of the characters like The Hulk, Robocop, Iron Man and so on.

You can find out more of their works on their Facebook account. All pictures are credits of BanHunLek's Facebook account.

The Incredible Hulk, made from scrap metal. Guess it weight heavier than 20 men

A real angry metal face

An awesome feature of the Optimus Prime in their workshop. Equipped with spare tyres as well!
Here's the BumbleBee and the chick! She's prettier than Megan Fox in my opinion

Marvellous model of Captain Davy Jones from Pirates of the Carribean. Steel tentacles...hmmm, looks heavy
Iron Man (colourless). Maybe they intend to design the War Machine instead

Animator and producer got many of their inspiration from the interesting faces around the world.

Perhaps they have met some of them somewhere, and created a cartoonic version of them into their animation. Or maybe these people just look exactly like cartoon character like it or not.

1. Linguini from Ratatouille. This man actually imitated that feature of Linguini. So much as he tried we can't deny he did have some similar feature.

2. Charlie Sheen = Glenn Quagmire. Glenn is the character from animated series 'Family Guy'. Maybe Glenn looked too fat to look like Charlie Sheen. But they just have that same cheeky smile on their face.

3. Dora the Explorer. Little girls' favourite cartoon icon. Now this little girl loved Dora so much that she had her haircut just like cute little Dora. How sweet!

4. Papa Smurf in real life. No you can't deny. They were very likely to have came up with Smurf from this man, I mean seriously!

5. Beavis from animated movie 'Beavis and the Butthead'. I know, this picture look sinister. Looked like a mugshot taken sometime ago. Beavis didn't have a friendly face anyway.

6. Russell from the animated movie 'Up'. This must be some cosplay session. And this boy can go ahead for audition, if they ever had a movie called 'Up - In Real Person'.

7. Chris Griffin from 'The Family Guy'. No one beat this for a lookalike contest.

8. Carl from animated movie 'Up'. This is truly amazing. How could someone look exactly like a cartoon character? Did they really copied him into the movie?

9. Montgomery Burns from The Simpsons. Wonder how would he be watching the Simpsons show if he knew about this?

We have watched so much of Marvel vs DC clash collision and multi universe combination. Heroes from both side had fought each other some time ago.

Let's just picked up these characters, particularly Spider-Man and Batman. If both happened to be in our world, who will win the fight?

courtesy: marvel.com
We have the super-powered nerd who was bitten by a radioactive spider. Equipped with spider-sense and the self-made webshooter.

On the other side, we have a billionaire who has learnt the mastery of martial arts. Contained itself with futuristic gadgets and bulletproof armour for a fight.

Your bet, Geeknation! Who will win the battle??

Halloween is over. But the record made by some of these guys were memorable.

These prankster who used to design the Spider-Dog costume is back!

This round they did gave a hell of a journey for scared victims. Dressed up as the post-apocalyptic zombies in the middle of the streets.

Even car driver was not spared. Watch how this driver skidded backward and drove as fast as he could to run away from human-eating zombies.

Or how this man screamed from top of his lungs. Neighbours nearby may have thought of him as the zombie instead!

Frequent flyers are bored of the regular safety demostration and video. Air New Zealand, the country's local carrier decided to put their creativity up another level.

airnewzealand.co.nz
A Lord of the Rings inspired safety video featuring characters from LOTR itself. Watching the video, you would have agreed that it was probably the most epic airline video ever. With dozens of horses roaming greeny fields. Special guests appearing in the video. Someone we probably know, Elijah Wood in his usual self, Peter Jackson, fake Gandalf the Gray and Orcs (in their usual self too!).

airnewzealand.co.nz
You probably will imagine yourself riding into the world of Middle Earth the moment you fasten your seatbelt.

New Zealand has a growing tourist attraction ever since the popularity of Lord of the  Rings trilogy, followed by The Hobbit franchise. They have specially prepared the Lord of the Rings tour. Travellers can roam around the settings of Middle Earth that took place in New Zealand.

This year marks the last Peter Jackson movie of The Hobbit franchise. He has announced that this will be the last movie from the work of J.R.R Tolkien. So sadly, no more Gandalf after this.

The Hobbit - The Battle of the Five Armies @vcpost.com
Air New Zealand probably wish to throw in budget in this video to bring it as many tourists possible, before the movie ended. Well, I can honestly say, it's a pretty good move. No more boring safety video!

This orchestra group called Cellocyl has created a music that will definitely hit Game of Thrones fans with great impression. They played the whole music with all-cello instruments.

This is something that will definitely make us love the show even more! Game of Thrones is now moving into Season 5, and have started filming on July 2014 in Belfast.

We always wish that our favourite superhero could somehow be a real. When reality strikes all these superheroes and save the Earth agenda isn't real. Right?

No! We were wrong!

They have spotted Batman for real. And he currently resides in Japan, changed his name to the 'Chibatman'! Japanese have spotted this Chibatman roaming on the street riding the unmistakable Batmobile aka Batcycle.

abc.net.au
Well who is he, really?

No one knows. All I know is that he is a 41-year old Japanese who dressed up as Batman. Wanted to create a more lively environment dressing up as Batman cheer people up. He was first spotted somewhere around May 2011 after the Fukushima nuclear incidence.

Perhaps this superhero wanted to make a difference to the world. Not by fighting. But through giving society a cheerful perspective of life.

***********************

Mr Chibatman wasn't the only one who wants to roam the street as Batman. It happened the following year after Chibatman.

This guy dressed up like Batman. Shot down the streets of Europe with the cotton material that looked like Batman and riding (or holding) a Batmobile made of cardboard. Spoke in that deep husky tone like the Dark Knight.

Perhaps it all started when we all wish it to be true. Influence from movie has told us that it IS possible to become superhero in real life.

That is why we have Dave Lizewski from Kick-Ass. Dressing up in a scuba diving suit and roam the street is possible.

Kick-Ass the Movie (2010)
No matter how unreal superhero is, I just love the fact that there are people entertaining us with acting as one. Keep us geeks, happy!

Bond is back with more excitement and some erotic temptation. The latest Bond movie, also known as Bond 24, is expected to start production in December 2014. Just to grill some excitement, the team have release some news on the new casts to join the family.

i.telegraph.co.uk/
Sources from Latino Review has revealed that there are possibility to confirm the cast of bad-ass in Bond movie. This person has to be buffed. Set at the height of 6'2". Had an physically and extremely fit for the show. Most probably someone from a sports background.

entertainment.ie
Best candidate is Dave Bautista. The beast has recently gained his popularity as Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy. Unexpectedly received a new signed contract from GOTG's following franchise due to overwhelming box office sales. Of course, he was already popular in the entertainment wrestling arena in WWE.

If he were to be the bad ass in Bond movie, I would love to see him do some smackdown and throw some powerbomb on our favourite hero.

Another news from DailyMail has confirmed that the French actress, Lea Seydoux will be cast as the next femme-fatale. This beautiful, sexy bomb has her reputation in a number of Hollywood movies.

Teaser Posters from MI: Ghost Protocol. Lea Seydoux (left) and Paula Patton (right)
You probably had seen her in Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Back then I wish to see her as the lead character instead (she was hotter Paula Patton, and I am bias).

Blue is the Warmest Colour official Poster
She also has gained fame in the Academy nominated movie, Blue is the Warmest Colour. An independent French movie about two lesbians, showing their love story and conflict of their love life.

screenpicks.com
Most important, Lea Seydoux and Adele Exachopoulos had a very steamy and revealing lesbian romance in the movie. Guys can start Googling and rent this movie when you're alone at home!

I will not miss this Bond movie (never had I miss one from Daniel Craig's Bond movie). Because so far, they always have pretty Bond girls than the past.

The Piano Guys, if you do not know them, are the Youtube sensation. Widely known for their talents in playing musical instruments of different songs and music.

They have posted another awesome video of their music. Playing a mash up of Batman's evolution over 50 years with piano, cello and background instruments.

What was eye-catching was the highlight of Batman's signature Batmobile. Displaying the first Batmobile on media (1966) and first Batman movie (1989) and of course the most successful Batman movie franchise, Dark Knight Trilogy (2005).

My take, I love the Batmobile in the 80's but I love the movie from the Dark Knight in 2005.

Batman by Adam West in 1966 was a happy and cheerful superhero, we never expected that it.....

Will look so hideous and angry after 40 years....!
