Geeks who are a big fan of epic monster kicking ass probably remembers this epic monster action game, Shadow of Colossus. This game was released back in 2006 in Playstation 2.

Sony is currently in the plan to make a movie adaptation of this game. The latest news was about a new director for this adaptation, Andres Muschietti. He was known as the Spanish director of horror film, Mama.

Together in the team was Muschietti's sister and producing partner,Barbara Muschietti and Kevin Misher.  Both of which are known for their works in Scorpion King and Public Enemies.

I have heard about the movie adaptation of Shadow of Colossus for few years. With rumors of different directors changing hands during 2009, 2012 and now 2014.

I will be praying everyday to hope Sony make this movie deal for real this time.

Ok Geeknation, for those who don't know about Shadow of Colossus, allow me to give a short intro. In this game you get to play as the hero named Wander who journeys across land fighting monsters.

The unique part of this game was that, there were no puzzles, no towns, no dungeons, no NPC to talk to. Core focus of the game is to fight against monster of EPIC sizes. 100 times as huge as the size of a normal human.

That was perhaps the way it set itself different from any other action-adventure genre. I cannot deny being a fan of this game, seeing how a hero kicking ass of gargantuan enemies.

This arcade player from Thailand was enjoying the arcade game so much. Perhaps a little bit too much.

It's normal to witness some great arcade players when you pass by an arcade centres. They hold a gun and hit bullseye at every shot. And stayed at the top 3 high score ranking! Damn, how did they do it?

Rehearsal! It's the answer by this professional arcade player from a small town in Thailand. Watch him dodge the bullet from the screen. Ducked under the screen to avoid explosions. Shake the hand of an imaginary friend.

Akashima Dewkung instructing the NPC to move...Or should I say talking to an arcade machine?
When you first look at him, you must be thinking he had some mental or personality disorder. Wait, maybe he is 'living' in his own world like any other geeks do. Maybe a bit too much.

So who's this guy? His name is Akashima Dewkung, dubbed as the best arcade gamer in Thailand. Because of his shooting skills and rather exaggerated stunt, he became a YouTube sensation across Asia! Go check him out if you like.

Hey, don't laugh! Can't you do it like he did? Maybe you can, but you won't. Well, at least he is a Youtube sensation now. Peace, shooter!

The release of Final Fantasy XV has just gotten all the fans crazy. FF frenzy and trend began to pick up.

Clip from Final Fantasy XV
After watching the first trailer for FF XV, I told myself that this is one of the best immersing realism in all FF franchise. Square Enix has done it again with the colourful graphics and presentation.

In the video, there were much more action and fighting. And for the first time in Final Fantasy history, we get to drive our players around. Pretty cool for a start. Guess the long wait was worth it.

Demo for FF XV will release March next year. Be sure to set it up on your reminder!

Let's pause for a moment and read another news on FF franchise.   We have identified some hint that FF XIII will be available on PC. This is when we have spotted Steam logo on Square Enix FF XIII page. Fanboys and fangirls will be delighted.

ff-xiii.net
FF XIII will come in trilogy. The sequels will be named as Final Fantasy XIII-2 and also Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII.  Perhaps this episode was so good that Square Enix decided to have sequels into it.

However making it as a trilogy could be rather confusing for first-timer. (Why do you have numbers, 'XIII' and still call it a trilogy?)

But who cares anyway, if it's so good, gamers just can't get enough of it after all!

Imagine yourself as a Zelda's fan, how would your room look like? Maybe you'll hang up a great colourful pop-up poster of  Link and Princess Zelda on your wall.

Why not just draw the whole wall with it!

This is what a hardcore Zelda fan will do, spending hours hours of hard work doing every detail of mural on the wall!

STEP 1
Let's start with the drawing of a fire-breathing dragon. Wait this wasn't Zelda...It was the Terrible Terror from 'How To Train Your Dragon' movie

STEP 2
Putting the dragon into good use. We can see Hyrule and the Death Mountain taking its shape, along with that fire-breathing dragon owning the space.

STEP 3
Next up is the sketch of Link holding his sword and shield. If you take a closer look, you'll probably see the outline sketches on the wall.

STEP 4
We see now that Link was done, jumping (or flying) over Hyrule. Here's our hero weilding the Master Swotd and Hylian Shield.

Blizzard has released its Diablo III : Ultimate Evil Edition for Xbox One and PS4. You probably have to reconsider playing it in PC after you have seen the comparison video later.

Better rendered graphics, more crisp and details. Looks like Diablo is no longer looking into point-and-click PC fan that much any more.

So much anticipation for Super Mario Smash Bros (SMSB), yet no news on when it is coming out.

Wait, we just got a leaked image that seemed evident. A recent leaked image from retailer, Fred Meyer revealed that release date, November 21.

via ign.com
As so far, there is no news on the official release date yet, this is what we can predict. Another leaked image showed that the Nintendo 3DS handheld can be used as Wii Controller for SMSB.

via Twitter @FarmboyinJapan
All we know now was that this function is compatible to SMSB only. Not knowing whether it is applicable to other games as well. We will have to wait for further updates to know more.
